Sales and marketing staff are responsible for keeping up with current trends and seeking growth opportunities across various sales and marketing channels and platforms. Sales personnel have the responsibility of matching the potential customer with the right RV. After the right RV is found for the potential customer, the business office reviews financing and insurance options with the customer.

  • Managing all phases of dealership operations to ensure maximum sales and profitability by creating an environment that is merchandise driven and customer focused

Establish long and short term goals for the sales department

  • Control unit inventory, and oversee marketing strategies for the dealership
  • Responsible for management of sales plans; proactive and aggressive marketing programs
  • Facilitates the operation of an efficient and effective dealership, while continuing to build a strong customer base
  • Coach, mentor, and build a high performance sales team dedicated to all sales activities
  • Plan and manage budgets by initiating and assessing cost control techniques
  • Maximize in-stock levels through precise inventory management
  • Identify key product drivers for merchandise presentation to enhance sales
  • Obtain and analyze customer feedback to ensure high service levels are maintained
  • Recruit, select and train sales staff for growth and advancement opportunities
  • Generate ideas to exceed sales goals and demonstrate best revenue-generating practices to the team and organization
  • Liaise between customers and all departments including parts, service and finance
  • Assist customers with buying decisions
  • Help customers select the unit which best fits their needs and advise on towing requirements
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used units and other value-added options
  • Write deals to present to sales manager
  • Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and current clients
  • Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals
  • Develop multimedia advertising and marketing plan
  • Oversee the development of collateral, public relations, traditional media and e-mail marketing and the maintenance of the company’s website
  • Develop marketing budget and track ROI
  • Work with marketing vendors and support organizations (IT, Customer Care) for program set up, maintenance and overall performance management
  • Manage reporting – sales, expenses and overall program performance
  • Facilitate cross functional meetings with IT and Customer Care to ensure campaign success
  • Increase multimedia marketing effectiveness and sales volumes at the lowest marginal cost
  • Exhibit a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple ports: (websites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, market research etc.)
  • Provide support to Marketing Manager
  • Assist with dealership sales events and trade shows
  • Compiling and distributing statistical information
  • Conduct market research: develop and analyze questionnaires
  • Create reports, company brochures and promotional materials
  • Organize and host presentations, customer visits and open houses
  • Work with external agencies and IT
  • Verify sales contracts for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist customers in financing the purchase of unit
  • Negotiate terms & conditions with financial institutions
  • Schedule & organize delivery of units
  • Promote extended service agreements, financing, tire replacement and credit life, accident and health insurance plans to customers
  • Develop incentives for sales people to sell insurance and financing in accordance with dealership policies
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to maximize profits from every sale
  • Prepare monthly reports and distribute to dealer principal
  • Verify all documents for correct titles, taxes and lien information
